Lifetime razors and shaving soaps reduce waste

Why is a safety razor better than a multi-blade razor?

The key to a good shave is a good razor! Even when using a multi blade razor, the first razor is doing all of the work until it becomes dull.  Dulling of the first blade happens quickly because multi blade razors are made with cheap steal working great only the first couple of shaves.  Once the first blade dulls the second blade starts cutting, but the first blade tugss on the skin and pushes hairs down causing ingrown hairs and razor rash irritation.

You will not cut yourself with a safety razor because they come with large safety bars by each blade!

Safety razors use a stainless steal blade that is longer lasting and the single razor allows for a cleaner closer shave everytime.  You change out your razor blades in the safety razor head every 5-10 shaved depending on preference. We sell razor boxes to store your used razors for proper disposal.

How to Wet Shave

  • Whether you're shaving your head, face, underarms, bikini area, legs or anywhere else on your body, the closest and most comfortable shave always begins with thoroughly softened hair. Only water will soften hair, and a couple of minutes of hot water works best. Then, wash well with any of our soaps to clean your skin and remove dead cells. Rinse.
  • To properly transfer the soap and moisture of the soap to your skin, wet and warm and bristles of your shave brush and shake once to keep water on the hairs.
  • Next, use your brush to lather the pre-shave and apply to desired area.  Pre-shave to soften hair further and allow for a gentle non irritating glide when shaving. Keep pre-shave on! You can rinse pre-shave from brush if desired.
  • Next build up a creamy lather of shave soap with your shaving brush cover the shaving area with "coushion" created from the foamy lather.
  • With a clean, sharp razor, take short light strokes. Hold loose skin taut (unless you're prone to shaving bumps). Rinse the razor often. Shave a beard WITH the grain, not against it. Shave legs from ankles upwards.
  • Last, apply your favorite aftershave splash or balm.

The result will be an easy, smooth, and satisfying shave without razor burn or nicks.
